Position Overview: MRX Group - MRX Group provides building and construction services for residential and commercial developers, including building repairs and consultancy work. The business supports a range of client projects where quality workmanship and reliable site delivery are essential. As a Painter at MRX Group, you will be responsible for preparing, painting, maintaining and decorating building surfaces and structures across client projects.

This position requires strong attention to detail, practical trade skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and with other trades. Responsibilities and Tasks:
n

Prepare surfaces before painting by removing old paint and wallpaper, repairing woodwork, filling holes and cracks, and smoothing and sealing surfaces.
n
Apply paints, varnishes, stains, vinyl coverings and wallpaper to walls, furniture and building structures.
n
Select,



mix and prepare paints to achieve required colours and finishes for residential and commercial projects.
n
Apply coats of plaster to interior walls, ceilings and partitions where required as part of surface preparation and finishing work.
n
Inspect, maintain and repair painted interior and exterior surfaces, including trims and fixtures.
n
Clean and maintain painting tools, equipment and work areas to support safe and efficient project delivery.
n
Comply with occupational health and safety requirements and site procedures across MRX Group client projects.
n
Complete other painting, maintenance and site duties as required to support residential and commercial construction, repair and consultancy projects.

Qualifications and Skills
n
n
Relevant qualification.
n
Minimum 1 year experience as a Painter
n
Demonstrated positive attitude and teamwork abilities
n
Ability to work efficiently with and without supervision
n
Robust attention to detail
n
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with other trades
n
n
Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $75,000 - $85,000 p.a plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week. COST0074
