Job Summary
n
BYD Service Manager oversees the entire service department within a car dealership, ensuring productive workshop operations, high‐quality customer service, and strong financial performance. They lead technicians, advisors, and workshop controllers while maintaining manufacturer standards and driving customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Guide and supervise the work of after-sales service staff.
n
Ensure the after-sales department operates with high efficiency and profitability.
n
Develop customer management strategies and set business targets based on past performance and growth plans.
n
Determine the department's budget based on historical data and future projections.
n
Identify staffing, facility, and resource needs to meet business goals.
n
Set objectives to improve customer satisfaction and retention.
n
Communicate department goals to staff and emphasize their role in achieving them.
n
Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed to meet targets.
n




Provide feedback and guidance to staff to ensure performance standards are met.
n
Lead the team to achieve departmental objectives.
n
Deliver exceptional customer service.
n
Address customer complaints promptly.
n
Manage and improve customer and employee satisfaction, prioritizing customer satisfaction as the top focus.
n
Ensure workplace safety in the after-sales department.
n
Provide backup support during staff absences.
n
Collaborate with the parts manager to maintain optimal inventory levels.
n
Oversee the implementation of fair and transparent warranty and free maintenance policies.
n
Perform other duties as assigned by senior management.
n

Education & Training
n
n
Bachelor's degree in automotive engineering or a related field.
n
Additional training in Business Management, Production Management, Leadership Development, Marketing, or Finance is highly desirable.
n
n
Experience
n
n
Minimum of 8 years in automotive repair or related industries.
n
At least 4 years in a management role.
n
Strong mechanical and automotive knowledge preferred.
n
Familiarity with BYD operations is an advantage.
n
n
