We're looking for a Trading Representative / Account Manager with a talent for negotiation and building lasting relationships. Based in Townsville, you will be responsible for sourcing scrap metal from suppliers in Regional Queensland, playing a vital role in our mission to lead the recycling industry.

What You'll Do
n
n
Develop and manage supplier relationships to secure used ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal
n
Negotiate pricing and terms to ensure competitive procurement within company guidelines
n
Monitor key performance metrics and collaborate with Operations and Transport teams for smooth logistics
n




Act as the main point of contact for suppliers, resolving issues and maintaining positive partnerships
n
Complete accurate monthly reports and manage costs in line with budgets
n
n
Who We're Looking For
n
You are the ideal candidate if you bring a mix of people experience, skill, and drive. We're looking for someone who has:
n
n
5+ years in Account Management, Sales, or Buying roles
n
Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills
n
Proven ability to build rapport and manage stakeholders at all levels
n
Experience in recycling, waste management, or scrap metal is highly regarded but not essential
n
n
