Echuca Regional Health is seeking a Locum General Surgery Registrar to assist with upcoming roster gaps.
n
This role is suited to a registrar with recent general surgical experience who is confident supporting surgical ward care, patient reviews, clinical documentation and escalation of care where required. Some shifts may include on-call responsibilities.

General Surgery Registrar role in a regional hospital setting

Day and afternoon shifts available
n
Some on‐call requirements as rostered
n
Supportive surgical team environment
n
Suitable for doctors with recent surgical registrar‐level experience
n

Key Duties
n
n
Review and manage surgical patients
n
Support ward‐based surgical care and management plans
n
Complete documentation and handover
n
Escalate clinical concerns appropriately
n
Work collaboratively with surgical, nursing and hospital teams
n
n
Eligibility Criteria
n
n
Current CV
n
Two consultant references
n
Certified primary qualification
n
Recent ALS
n
Full COVID and flu vaccination evidence required
n
Recent General Surgery Registrar experience
n
Current AHPRA Registration and compliance documents as required
n
n
