About the Role
n
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Site or Business Manager to lead a well-established Employment Services operation in Bundaberg.
n
Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will oversee the delivery of both Transition to Work (TTW) and Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) programs while leading a multidisciplinary team of employment professionals, youth specialists and support staff.
n
The site is performing well and has strong participant demand. Your focus will be on providing visible leadership, building team capability, maintaining solid contractual performance and continuing to foster a positive, participant-focused culture. There is also future potential to oversee additional sites as the organisation continues to grow.
n
This opportunity will suit an experienced Business Manager within Employment Services or a high-performing Team Leader ready to take the next step into operational leadership.
n

Key Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day operations of the Bundaberg Employment Services site
n
Drive performance across two employment programs
n
Lead, coach and develop a multidisciplinary team to maximise capability and performance
n
Deliver contractual KPIs including employment placements, education outcomes, compliance and financial performance
n
Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, community organisations and key stakeholders
n
Ensure high-quality participant engagement and service delivery across all programs
n
Oversee workforce planning, performance management and staff development
n
Foster a collaborative, values-driven and accountable team culture
n
Work closely with regional leadership to support continuous improvement and future growth opportunities
n

The Successful Candidate Will
n
n
Have previous leadership experience within Employment Services, Disability Employment Services, Workforce Australia or another government-funded employment program
n
Demonstrate success leading teams in KPI-driven service delivery environments
n
Have proven experience managing operational performance, compliance and contractual outcomes
n
Be an engaging people leader who enjoys coaching and developing others
n
Have strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build productive employer and community relationships
n
Demonstrate sound commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and operational targets
n
Possess excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
n
Hold a current driver's licence and be able to complete the required background checks
n
n
Experience within Transition to Work or Inclusive Employment Australia will be highly regarded, along with experience supporting young people into employment.
