Job Description
Monitor and track the Performance Ratio and Availability of the solar farms.
n
n
Ensure O&M; Engineers and Site Managers effectively plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
n
n
Manage contractors, service providers, and OEM relationships while maintaining accurate maintenance records and asset documentation.
n
Ensure that all changes to the solar assets are managed in accordance with the Change Management Procedure.
n
Ensure smooth operation of the Control Room and personnel rosters is maintained to provide continuous 365-day services.
n
Respond to negative trends and issues, create and implement action plans to improve operational performance. Lead root-cause analysis for recurring technical issues.
n
Identify and propose improvement to the clients and company leaders to consider.
n
Review and ensure complete, accurate timely reporting for the clients.
n
n
Provide explicit and concise reporting to senior management on asset performance, contractual compliance, risk exposure and budget status.
n
n
Regularly conduct Manager site visits to ensure that maintenance and supervision of the sites are adequate.
n
Leadership and Team Management
n
Lead and develop a team of O&M; Engineers, Site Managers and field electricians.
n
Establish clear objectives, responsibilities and performance expectations across the organisation.
n
Ensure effective delegation of technical and operational activities to O&M; Engineers.
n
Foster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement and operational excellence.
n
Manage the training programme to ensure that all Team Members' training needs are met.
n
Develop succession planning and talent development initiatives.
n
With the support of the Industrial Relations Manager, competently handle any matters related to Industrial Relations.
n
Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ)
n
Promote andmaintaina positive safety culture in the O&M; Team and subcontractors, ensuring that all work is done in compliance with theCompany's Global Safety Essentials and all legislative requirements.
n
Conduct site audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
n
Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
n
Manage the safety obligations of the O&M; Team including inspections, KPI tracking, and auditing.
n
Client / Contract Management
n
Own contractual compliance across the O&M; portfolio.
n
In collaboration with the Commercial and Legal teams, manage contractual matters related to O&M;, including warranties, variation orders,
claims,subcontractsand
services agreements.
n
Act as the primary representative of the Company when dealing with clients,
subcontractors,vendorsand
communities in matters related to O&M.;
n
Ensure contractual obligations are understood and implemented by the O&M; teams.
n
n
Identify, assess and mitigate operational, contractual, financial and HSE risks and opportunities across the O&M; portfolio.
n
n
n
Maintain risk registers and ensure mitigation actions are implemented.
n
n
n
Escalate material risks and opportunities to senior management in a timely manner.
n
n
Own annual budgeting, forecasting and cost control activities.
n
Ensure financial resources are managed efficiently while supporting operational excellence.
n
Procurement
n
n
Review and approve procurement decisions, including those related to spare parts, tools and equipment, consumables, etc.
n
n
Make competent procurement decisions and run efficient tenders to ensure the best value of all goods & services used in O&M.;
n
Working with the Contracts Administration, Procurement & Logistics, Finance, Cost Control and Accounts Payable teams, act as the primary co-ordinator to ensure smooth procurement, delivery and payment of goods & services.
