This multidisciplinary mental health and social and emotional wellbeing service is committed to providing culturally secure, trauma-informed and recovery-oriented care. The service has a robust focus on supporting First Nations peoples and communities and is recognised for its commitment to quality service delivery, professional supervision and workforce development.

Position Description
n
This position will provide therapy services across a variety of referral types and programs, delivering both individual and group-based therapeutic counselling and healing services to consumers aged 5 to 75 years.
n
Responsibilities include:
n
n
Delivering therapeutic services through face-to-face, outreach and telehealth models.
n
Conducting assessments, care planning, care reviews and report writing.
n
Managing a caseload within a supervised and supported team environment.
n
Working collaboratively with communities, stakeholders and service providers to deliver culturally appropriate and responsive care.
n
Participating in quality assurance activities and maintaining high professional standards.
n
Building partnerships and community connections to support positive client outcomes.
n
n
Position Requirements
n
n
Current registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist or Occupational Therapist (Mental Health/Better Access endorsed), or accreditation as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW).
n
Current AHPRA or AASW registration.
n
Current driver's licence.
n
Willingness to complete pre-employment screening including Criminal History, Blue Card and Queensland Disability Worker Screening/NDIS Worker Screening requirements.
n
Experience working with, or willingness to engage with, First Nations families and communities.
n
