The Opportunity
This role offers the opportunity to work within a complex and highly secure technology environment, providing administration, maintenance and support across enterprise infrastructure, networking and business applications.
As part of a team of technical specialists, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security and performance of key systems while providing technical support to internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day administration and support of enterprise ICT infrastructure.
Maintain and support Windows Server environments and associated technologies.
Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Microsoft-based services.
Support Linux systems and applications where required.
Manage virtualised environments, enterprise storage platforms and backup solutions.
Monitor system performance, availability and security compliance.
Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve technical incidents and service requests.
Implement and maintain system and network security controls.
Support software deployment, patching and system imaging activities.
Assist with LAN and WAN administration and network troubleshooting.
Coordinate hardware procurement, deployment and lifecycle management.
Maintain technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
5+ years' experience in systems administration, infrastructure support or a similar role.
Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory and Microsoft technologies.
Knowledge of virtualisation platforms and enterprise storage environments.
Experience supporting Windows ***** desktop environments.
Understanding of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, LAN and WAN technologies.
Experience with remote support tools, patch management and software deployment platforms.
Exposure to Linux administration is desirable.
Knowledge of ITIL processes, including incident and change management.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced technical environment.

Hold or be eligible to obtain and maintain an NV2 Australian Government Security Clearance.
Meet applicable security and compliance requirements associated with Defence industry programs.
