Senior Information Sharing Specialist:

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Privacy & Information Sharing Specialist to support the obligations under the Privacy and Responsible Information Sharing (PRIS) Act **** and strengthen organisational privacy governance and compliance.
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Lead privacy governance, information sharing and regulatory compliance in a complex public sector workplace.
n
Coordinate and support the obligations under the PRIS Act ****, ensuring legislative and organisational privacy requirements are met.
n
Manage privacy and responsible information sharing enquiries received through the PRIS mailbox, providing timely and practical advice to staff.
n
Develop and deliver privacy training, presentations, guidance materials and communication initiatives to strengthen organisational awareness and compliance.
n




Lead the implementation and ongoing management of the personal information breach response process.
n
Coordinate responses to PRIS-related enquiries, investigations and requests from relevant oversight bodies, including the Office of the Information Commissioner and the Office of the Chief Data Officer.
n
Support the development and implementation of the Privacy Management Plan.
n
Contribute to privacy governance, risk management and initiatives designed to improve the overall privacy maturity.
n
Demonstrated experience in legislative interpretation, regulatory compliance, privacy, governance and/or legal matters.
n
