About the Role

Are you looking to contribute to the community in ameaningful way?Join our dedicated and hard-working Environmental Services Department and helpmaintain our facilities, while providing a suitable workplace forourtūroro (patients) and whānau (families).

You will be part of a small fast paced team that plays anessential part of maintaining Ashburton Hospital Facilities. The team
providesexceptional
cleaning services 365 days a year, across both day and nightshifts.
n
Starting rate $***** per hour, based on the E tū Service andFood Workers collective agreement.
n
You will be responsible for:
n
n
Completingall cleaning tasks to a high standard
n
Ensuredaily schedules and task lists are completed in set time frame
n
Workingalongside other cleaners to ensure that tasks are completed in a timelymanner
n
Matchingservice requirements to the clinical needs
n
Maintenanceof equipment and operated according to specifications
n
Utilisethe correct chemicals and dilutions
n
n
About You
n




We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and flexiblecandidate who can bring their passion for cleaning to the Ashburton facility.
n
This role will suit a candidate that is looking to help makethe Hospital and hygienic and safe space for our patients and whanau.
n
There will also be the possibility to pick up extra hours.Full training will be provided to all new staff joining our team.

Accuracyand attention to detail

Experienceas a cleaner, particularly within health is preferred but not essential.
