We are seeking committed Part-time and Casual Housekeeping Assistants to join our team at Coppin Residential Aged Care Facility. In this essential role, you'll help maintain a clean, hygienic, and inviting environment for residents, families, and staff.
n
You'll be part of a compassionate community, engaging with residents and supporting those living with dementia, illness, or disability while contributing to the overall comfort and wellbeing of the home.
n
We are looking for candidates who are willing to work the following permanent roster:

Week 1

Monday: 09:00am-16:00pm
n
Tuesday: 09:00am-16:00pm
n
Wednesday: 09:00am-16:00pm
n
Friday: 09:00am-16:00pm
n
Friday: 08:00am-14:00pm

Week 2
n

Monday: 09:00am-16:00pm
n
Tuesday: 09:00am-16:00pm
n
Wednesday: 09:00am-16:00pm
n
Friday: 09:00am-16:00pm

Friday: 10:00am- 14:30pm

Your Responsibilities:
n
n
Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, kitchens and laundry facilities.
n
Operate cleaning equipment and utilise the electronic cleaning system to complete daily tasks.
n
Follow infection control procedures, including the correct use of colour coded cleaning equipment.
n
Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards,



workplace health and safety requirements and accreditation standards.
n
Clean and maintain floors, carpets, bathrooms, and other facility areas to established standards.
n
Safely handle, store and use cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines.
n
Preform additional cleaning and housekeeping duties as directed by management.
n

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in aged care, healthcare, hospitality or commercial cleaning is highly desirable.
n
Genuine empathy for older people and a positive, uplifting attitude.
n
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, infection control and safety.
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced residential care environment.

Requirements:

Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or Police Check.
n
Proof of COVID‐19 vaccination and annual Influenza vaccination encouraged
