Quality Engineer (F/M)Offer ID: *****Job: Support Functions / HSSEQContract type: PermanentCountry: AustraliaCompany OverviewOur Australian team consists of approximately 50 highly skilled engineers, and it is expanding rapidly due to the growth of large-scale PV projects.
As we enter into new opportunities involving substations and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), our central engineering team in France will provide support to ensure smooth integration and implementation.In this role, you will report daily to the Quality Manager inAustralia.Additionally,you will maintain frequent communication with the Project Manager, ensuring cohesive collaboration and successful project outcomes.Position OverviewWithin this position, you'll play a crucial role in preventing defects, ensuring safety, and validating that installations are eligible for incentives.
You'll be responsible for ensuring that components, installations, and operational systems comply with strict Australian Standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.KeyResponsibilities:Maintainthe Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO **** and industry-specific standards.Conduct inspections and audits of solar panel installations (including pile and structure), electrical systems, and civil works to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance to ensure adherence to qualityrequirements.Assistin the development and review of quality documentation, including Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and WorkInstructions.Assistin producing clear, accurate weekly and monthly operationalreports.Investigatenon-conformances, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results,
and quality reports.Support commissioning and handover processes by ensuring all quality documentation is complete andaccurate.Collaboratewith engineering, construction, and HSE teams to promote a culture of continuous improvement and qualityexcellence.Identifyand provide training to ensure workforce understand and implement correct installation methods and qualityprocedures.Qualifications:1-4 years of experience in quality enginering, preferably within renewable energy.Extensive experience in Hybrid solar farm projects, including projects for major utilities.Solid knowledge of Australian standards (e.g., AS/NZS **** and AS/NZ ****).
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
