A vacancy exists for a Permanent Full Time House Coordinator (38 hours per week). We are seeking a suitably experienced and qualified person to coordinate the day-to-day operations of Tumut's Mangaroo Group Home.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:
n
n
Coordinating the daily operation of the group home;
n
Providing direction, supervision and rostering of staff;
n
Arranging, implementing and responding to Person-Centred Plans (PCPs) for clients;
n
Supporting clients to live as independently as possible by encouraging and assisting them to manage their own domestic responsibilities; and
n
Ensuring quality service delivery in accordance with organisational and NDIS requirements.

The position's hours cover all days and shifts across a 7-day roster, including evening, weekend and sleepover shifts.

Essential Requirements Successful applicants must:
n
n
Be willing to undertake a NSW NDIS Worker Screening Check;
n
Hold or be able to obtain a Working With Children Check;
n
Hold a current Australian Driver Licence;
n
Hold a current First Aid Certificate; and
n
Hold a minimum Certificate III in Disability Services (or associated discipline).
n

Desirable Qualifications
n
n
Certificate IV in Disability Services or other relevant industry qualification; and
n
Demonstrated experience working within disability support services and leading staff teams.
