Fantastic Opportunity for a Process Specialist to join our MILO Smithtown Factory. MILO, Australia's iconic crunchy milk drink, was first introduced in **** by chemical engineer, Thomas Mayne from Smithtown, NSW. Here is your chance to join an iconic brand.

This role is responsible to optimise sustained improvements in performance across the site's manufacturing processes and line efficiencies through providing process expertise.
n
A day in the life...
n
n
Providing technical expertise to optimise manufacturing processes, line performance and operational efficiency across the factory.
n
Leading and supporting continuous improvement initiatives that drive productivity, quality, sustainability and cost savings.
n
Building capability across the site by coaching, training and developing technical knowledge within cross-functional teams.
n
Partnering with Production, Engineering, Maintenance and Quality teams to successfully deliver projects, process changes and innovation initiatives.
n
Supporting food safety, quality and compliance requirements while ensuring manufacturing systems and documentation remain accurate and up to date.
n
Analysing manufacturing performance data and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency,
reduce waste and enhance reliability.
n
Leading production trials and process improvements to optimise product quality and operational outcomes.
n
Coaching operators and stakeholders to strengthen technical capability and embed best-practice manufacturing standards.
n
Developing technical process documentation, flow sheets and operating parameters that support consistent manufacturing performance.
n
Driving cross-functional improvement projects that deliver measurable business results and strengthen the site's competitive advantage.
n

What Will Make You Successful
n
n
Joining a collaborative team of specialists, you will be a problem-solver who enjoys turning technical challenges into practical solutions and influencing positive process changes.
n
A degree in Food Technology, Applied Science, Chemistry, Engineering or a related discipline.
n
Experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally supported by exposure to continuous improvement or lean manufacturing principles.
n
Robust technical understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment and process optimisation.
n
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams.
n
Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving capabilities.
n
Experience identifying and delivering operational improvement projects and cost‐saving initiatives.
n
Confidence communicating technical information to both technical and non‐technical audiences.
n
A genuine commitment to Safety,
Health, Environment, Food Safety and Quality standards.
n
The ability to lead through influence, build capability in others and create lasting improvements across site operations.
n
