2 Senior Electrical Project Manager | Design & Construct | Commercial Construct

Daniel Yelkovan from ri-kroot is currently looking for 2 x Senior Project Managers for twodelivery roles with a growing Queensland electrical contractor. You'll manage several design-and-construct packages at once, typically valued at $1.5 million to $3 million and up to $12 million, with support from an in-house Electrical Engineer, Draftsperson and Pre-construction Manager. What you'll do
n

Run three to six concurrent electrical packages, adjusting your focus as project complexity changes.
n
Own planning, resourcing, procurement, subcontractor packages, programming and delivery through to handover.
n
Control project commercials, including claims, cost to complete, forecast margin, notices and variations.
n
Lead Project Supervisors and site teams while maintaining strong builder, client and supplier relationships.
n
Use the in-house design team to resolve design issues quickly and keep delivery moving.
n
Maintain your own registers, claim packs, document control, progress reporting and project systems.
n




Uphold quality, compliance and WHS standards, with unconditional authority to stop unsafe work.

What you'll bring
n
n
Around seven years in commercial or industrial electrical delivery, including at least three years as a Project Manager.
n
Evidence of successfully managing an electrical portfolio above $8 million across concurrent projects.
n
Electrical trade qualification is preferred; an electrical engineering qualification will also be considered.
n
Specific design-and-construct experience across procurement, delivery and commercial control.
n
Strong command of project numbers, subcontractor performance, claims, variations and forecast outcomes.
n
Current hands-on use of project, drawing and document-control systems such as Simpro, Bluebeam, Procore or similar.
n
White Card, driver's licence and full working rights in Australia.
n

Real authority: approve purchase orders and head-contractor variations upto $50K

Own end-to-end electrical delivery across major commercial projects
