Project Manager - Luxury Apartment Build

The Company

Our client is a luxury developer-builder that delivers high-end apartment projects across the Lower North Shore.
n
Development, design and construction are managed in-house, allowing the Project Manager to work directly with the people making the key project decisions.
n
The Role
n
You will take overall responsibility for delivering a 40-apartment luxury residential development from preconstruction through to completion. Your responsibilities will include:
n
Establishing and managing the master programme and critical path
n
Leading procurement and subcontractor engagement
n
Managing design development, consultants and approvals
n
Overseeing project costs, forecasting, variations and risk
n
Leading the site and contract administration teams
n
Managing subcontractor performance
n
Driving quality, safety and compliance
n
Reporting on programme, cost and project risk
n
Managing commissioning, completion and handover
n

About You
n
You will have:
n
Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering Class 2 apartment developments
n
Experience with a head contractor or developer-builder
n
Delivered residential projects from preconstruction through to handover
n
Strong programming, procurement and commercial management skills
n
Experience leading site, contract administration and consultant teams
n
Sound knowledge of NSW construction legislation and the Design and Building Practitioners framework
n
A relevant construction, engineering or project management qualification
