About the Role
n
We are seeking anEnrolled Nurse (EN)to join our growing Urgent Care Service.
n
Working alongside Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals, you will provide safe, efficient and high-quality nursing care to patients presenting with urgent illnesses and injuries.
n
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Enrolled Nurse to further develop their clinical skills, work within a collaborative team and contribute to the growth of Urgent Care in Australia.
n
About the Role – Key Responsibilities
n
You will contribute to both clinical care and the efficient operation of the Urgent Care centre, including:
n
n
Providing safe, high-quality nursing care within your scope of practice.
n
Working collaboratively with Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals to assess and support patients.
n
Conducting patient history assessments and supporting appropriate patient care pathways.
n
Administering medications in accordance with relevant policies, procedures and scope of practice.
n
Providing wound care, plastering and assistance with clinical procedures.
n
Supporting patient education and providing clear information to promote recovery and ongoing care.
n
Supporting patient assessment and guidance in line with relevant inclusion and exclusion criteria.
n
Maintaining accurate, comprehensive and timely clinical documentation.
n
Assisting with Medicare billing, coding and other administrative requirements.
n
Maintaining accurate patient registration and appointment information.
n
Supporting a welcoming, organised and productive clinical environment.
n
Ensuring clinical areas are appropriately stocked, maintained and compliant with relevant policies and procedures.
n
Identifying and reporting incidents, hazards and safety concerns.
n
Actively contributing to workplace health and safety initiatives.
n
Maintaining professional standards and delivering care in accordance with ForHealth policies, procedures and applicable standards.
n

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
CurrentAHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
n
Relevant clinical experience in one or more of the following:n
n
3+ years' experience in primary care or general practice nursing; or
n
2+ years' experience in an Emergency Department or similar acute-care environment; or
n
3+ years' experience in medical/surgical, orthopaedic or similar acute-care settings.
n
n
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
n
Excellent attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
n
The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
n
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
n
The ability to respond appropriately to patient needs and clinical escalations.
n
A patient-centred approach and commitment to delivering high-quality care.
n
Flexibility and availability to work evenings and weekends.
n
n
Successful applicants will be required to provide a Working with Children Check and, where applicable,
a National Police Check and International Police Check.
