About the Role
n
As a Retail Trade Salesperson, you'll be more than just a salesperson—you'll be a trusted advisor to tradespeople, businesses and DIY customers. You'll use your product knowledge to recommend the right solutions while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Assist customers in-store and over the phone with expert product advice.
n
Recommend the right tools and equipment for a wide range of trade applications.
n




Build strong customer relationships that encourage repeat business.
n
Achieve sales targets while delivering exceptional customer service.
n
Stay up to date with current promotions, new products and industry trends.
n
Maintain high merchandising standards and a well-presented showroom.
n
Resolve customer enquiries professionally and efficiently.
n
Work an 11-day rotating roster, including one weekend day each week.
n

About You
n
You'll be someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a busy retail environment and takes pride in delivering great service.
n
Ideally, you'll have:
n

Experience in retail sales, trade sales or customer service.
n
A trade background or strong knowledge of tools and power equipment (highly regarded).
n
A passion for achieving sales results and exceeding customer expectations.
n
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
n
Confidence using computers and point-of-sale systems.
n
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
