We're on the hunt for our next Assistant Manager to help keep the Balgownie Hotel buzzing and loved by the locals.

Established in **** and recently renovated, The Balgownie Hotel is an iconic, family-friendly venue catering to the vibrant local community. Rich in history, the hotel is deeply connected to the area through strong partnerships with local sporting clubs; including sponsoring Australia's oldest active soccer club, the Balgownie Rangers. From casual dining to community celebrations, it remains the region's go-to meeting place.

A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:
n

Get to know the locals so well they think you're part of the crew
n
Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe
n
Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
n
Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
n
Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift
n
n
Inherent requirements:
n
This is a hands‐on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:
n
n
You've been around the bar, bistro,



or gaming room block, and maybe already done some supervising
n
You've learned from great managers and now you're ready to step up
n
You've got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
n
You've got a current RSA, RCG and ARCG as per state requirements
n
n
