Job Description
We are working with a leading global proprietary trading firm looking to hire an experienced Trader into its Sydney team, providing APAC-hours coverage for a global digital assets trading business.

The role covers automated market making and delta-one strategies across CeFi and DeFi. You will take responsibility for live trading during APAC hours, monitoring strategies and risk, managing configurations and responding to market or operational events.

Responsibilities

Monitor live automated strategies, positions, exposures and PnL
n
Manage trading parameters, limits and operational controls
n
Investigate unusual strategy behaviour, execution issues and PnL movements
n
Use Python and internal tools to analyse trades, execution quality and strategy performance
n
Support the rollout of strategies across new instruments, venues and protocols
n
Work closely with traders, quantitative researchers and developers globally
n
n
Background
n
We are looking for candidates with approximately 3-8 years of relevant experience, ideally within electronic trading, market making,



systematic trading or a closely related trading environment.
n
You should bring:
n
n
Strong understanding of electronic markets and live trading risk
n
Good judgement and the ability to make decisions in time-sensitive situations
n
Python proficiency for data analysis and trade investigation
n
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
n
A quantitative or technical academic background
n
n
Experience in eFX, Delta One, futures, ETFs or other
automated/electronic
trading environments can be highly relevant. Prior digital assets experience is advantageous, but not essential.
