Location: Mitcham Clinic, Mitcham Square, Torrens Park, SA
n Employment Type: Minimum 3 days per week, 7.5 hours per day, with flexibility to scale down during school holidays
n Salary: 95,*********,000 (FTE equivalent) + 12% super (based on experience)

About the Role
n
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our growing team. We seek a clinician with NDIS, disability, and community experience who can work independently without direct supervision.
n
The role focuses on providing therapy-based interventions (with some reporting). We are looking for an OT who is passionate about seeing clients regularly and delivering therapy sessions.
n
This role includes working with and supervising allied health assistants (AHAs) and mentors, supporting them in delivering client-focused therapy programs.
n
This position requires a minimum of 3 days per week, 7.5 hours per day, with the flexibility to scale down hours during school holidays.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Provide therapy-based occupational therapy interventions for children and adults with disabilities.
n
Deliver therapy sessions in clinic, home, school, and community settings.
n
Implement sensory integration strategies and support clients with regulation and daily living skills.
n
Apply a neuroaffirmative approach to therapy, respecting and supporting neurodivergent individuals.
n
Work with clients who have experienced trauma,
using a trauma-informed approach to care.
n
Supervise and support Allied Health Assistants (AHAs) and mentors, ensuring high-quality client outcomes.
n
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and complete therapy-related reports when required.
n
Work independently and manage own caseload without direct supervision.
n

Requirements
n
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
n
Current registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency).
n
Demonstrated experience working with individuals across the lifespan, including children and adults, who have disabilities.
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively interact with clients, their families, and multidisciplinary teams.
n
Dedication to continuous professional development, staying updated with advancements in the field of Occupational Therapy.
