Food Production Worker / Machine Operator (Afternoon Shift)

About The Role:
n We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Production Workers and Machine Operators, on a permanent full time and casual basis to join the Priestley's Team, on our afternoon shift (2:00pm - 10:06pm). You will be an integral part of our production team, in our baked goods division. You'll help manage, prepare, mix, bake, decorate and package a variety of delicious products, ensuring each item meets our high standards for quality and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:
n
Operate baking equipment and machinery efficiently to meet production goals.
n
Ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications.
n
Perform routine equipment checks and report any faults or issues.
n
Support and train team members on procedures and safety.
n
Follow all health and safety regulations in the workplace.
n
Minimize waste and downtime through proactive problem-solving.
n
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the production area.
n
Complete finishing touches on products as they are being processed and packaged.

About You:
n
Previous experience in a food production (required).
n
Previous experience leading, guiding and training team members.
n
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
n
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
n
Mechanically minded, with good computer skills.
n
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a diverse team.
n
Physically fit (with the ability to pass a pre‐employment medical assessment).
