This lovely 80-place OSHC service is located in Malabar is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Diploma-qualified OSHC Coordinator to join their well established team. This service delivers high quality before and after school programmes dedicated to providing a well rounded OSHC experience for all students, with a focus on building lifelong habits that will aid them in a bright future. The ideal Coordinator would be someone who is eager to implement these active programs and have experience managing or supporting a medium-large-scale service.

The Role
n
As the Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the before and after school care program. You will work closely with the school community to ensure a smooth and supportive environment for both children and staff. You will also be the Educational Leader and play a key role in guiding and mentoring a passionate team, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day operations of the Before and After School Care program
n
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures
n
Supervise, lead, and support a team of educators, fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture
n
Oversee development, implement,



and review engaging programs for children
n
Liaise regularly with the school, committee, and parents to ensure ongoing communication and feedback
n
Take responsibility for the business management aspects of the service
n
Maintain a protected and nurturing environment for children, staff, and families
n
Ensure all documentation, reports, and records are completed accurately and in a timely manner
n
n
About You
n
To be successful in this position, you must have:
n
n
Diploma in Children's Services (also open to experienced OSHC leaders working towards a Diploma)
n
Prior leadership experience in OSHC
n
Current Working with Children Check
n
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
n
Current Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificate
n
Food Handler/Safety Supervisor Certificate
n
Recent Child
Protection/Safeguarding
training
n
Unrestricted Australian working rights and flexibility to work split shifts
n
Proven ability to manage a medium-to-large service
n
A passion for providing high-quality care and education for children
n
