Business Manager - After Hours and Operations Support

Reporting to the Executive General Manager, you will lead people, operations and commercial performance while supporting broader branches, regions and divisions. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced workforce environment, builds high-performing teams and delivers exceptional outcomes for clients, candidates and employees.

Key responsibilities
n

Lead, coach and develop a high-performing, inclusive team
n
Oversee recruitment delivery, workforce planning, mobilisation and rostering
n
Drive operational excellence, compliance, WHS and service quality
n
Build solid client relationships and identify business development opportunities
n
Own branch commercial performance, including revenue, margins and forecasting
n
Lead and support the National After Hours Team, including rostering and escalations
n
Drive continuous improvement and contribute to national initiatives across NW People
n
Support workforce programs, including wage subsidy administration and compliance
n
n




About you
n
n
5+ years' experience in recruitment, labour hire, workforce management or a similar environment
n
Proven people leadership and team development capability
n
Strong business development, sales and client relationship skills
n
Operational, compliance and workforce planning experience
n
Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills
n
A leadership style built on fairness, authenticity, collaboration and accountability
n
Experience with after-hours/24-7 operations, WHS, industrial relations, workforce technology or wage subsidy programs will be highly regarded
n
