About the role
n
The Maintenance Officer will play a critical role in ensuring that our facilities are safe, well-maintained, and contribute to the well-being of our residents. As a Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of our facility, creating a comfortable and safe setting for our residents.
n
Your main duties will include:
n
Attend to general maintenance tasks as directed including gardening as required.
n
Checking maintenance logs and prioritising tasks, coordinating contractors to attend as required.
n
Under the guidance of the Home Manager, plan and schedule maintenance across the home
n
Ordering and storing of stock as required.
n
Ensure the timely action of hazards, incidents and other events that involve the maintenance function.
n
About you
n
Experience in
Maintenance/Gardening
role
n
Commitment to continuous quality improvement
n




Working Knowledge of WH&S; and Infection Control
n
Demonstrated commitment to customer focused services
n
Drivers licence Class
n
Previous experience and understanding of aged care including retirement village/ independent living setting
n
Trade qualifications and/or experience
n
