MacKellar is growing its partnership with Aeris Resources on a developing mining project near Nyngan, NSW, and we're looking for experienced Service Persons to join our maintenance team.
n
If you're experienced around heavy mobile equipment and looking for stable, long-term work with a consistent roster, this is an opportunity to join a growing operation with a up-to-date fleet and a strong focus on safety.

About the Role
n
As a Service Person, you'll provide essential servicing and maintenance support across the site's heavy mobile equipment fleet.
n
Working as part of the maintenance team, you'll help keep equipment operating safely and reliably by completing scheduled servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance activities.
n
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
n
n
Servicing, greasing and refuelling heavy mobile mining equipment
n
Completing daily pre-starts, inspections and equipment checks
n




Carrying out preventative maintenance activities
n
Identifying and reporting defects or equipment issues
n
Maintaining accurate service and maintenance records
n
Supporting trades and maintenance teams with breakdown and scheduled maintenance
n
Maintaining clean, safe and organised work areas
n
Following site safety procedures and maintenance standards
n
n
What You'll Bring
n
We're looking for someone who is reliable, safety-focused and comfortable working around heavy mining equipment.
n
You'll ideally have:
n
n
Previous experience as a Service Person, Field Service Person or similar
n
Experience servicing heavy mobile equipment in a mining or earthmoving environment
n
Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
n
Ability to work a 7/7 rotating day and night roster
n
Current Australian Driver's Licence
n
HR Licence highly regarded
n
RII Service Mine Plant & Equipment or equivalent qualification highly regarded
n
A solid team focus and willingness to support the wider maintenance team
n
