Position Summary

Are you passionate about supply chain planning and making sure the right products are available at the right place and time? Join Nestlé as a Market Distribution Planner and play a critical role in managing the supply network across the Nestlé Pacific Islands business. This is an prospect to work at the centre of a fast-paced supply chain, partnering with teams across Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics and International Markets to deliver exceptional service levels while optimising inventory, costs and business performance.

A day in the Life...
n
You will:
n
n
Develop and execute supply plans that deliver customer service, inventory and working capital targets.
n
Identify supply risks and capacity constraints, providing recommendations to support business decisions.
n
Partner with manufacturing teams to optimise production plans, capacity utilisation and supply continuity.
n
Manage supply and demand changes, resolving exceptions and adjusting plans to minimise risk and maintain service levels.
n
Lead planning discussions and communicate supply issues, impacts and trade-offs to stakeholders across the business.
n
Manage inventory policies and stock levels to ensure product availability while optimising stock cover and minimising waste.
n
Support promotional activity, new product launches and Inter-Market Supply (IMS) requirements across local and export markets.
n
Establish short and long-term production requirements and monitor execution against plan.
n




Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance planning effectiveness, efficiency and supply chain performance.

What will make you successful:
n
n
Experience in Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Factory Logistics, Manufacturing or a related Supply Chain function.
n
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance service, inventory, capacity and cost objectives.
n
Proven experience managing supply plans, inventory and production requirements in a fast-paced environment.
n
Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex supply issues into clear recommendations and actions.
n
Experience using planning systems such as SAP APO, SNP or similar supply planning tools.
n
A proactive, resilient and continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to challenge existing processes and drive efficiencies.
n
High attention to detail, solid organisational skills and a passion for delivering results.
n
n
