I am currently seeking 4 experienced Concreters to join a project at the Glencore Mt Isa Mine.
n
This is a great prospect for experienced concreters looking for consistent FIFO mining work, with the project expected to continue through to November ****.

THE ROLE
n
You will be working as part of a skilled construction team completing:
n

Concrete slab work
n
Formwork
n
Concrete preparation and finishing
n
Working safely within an active mining environment
n

n
Concrete preparation and finishing

Working safely within an active mining environment

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
n
We are seeking experienced concreters who have:
n
n
Proven commercial, civil or mining concreting experience
n
Current MMQ is highly desirable
n
FIFO experience NEEDED.
n
Strong formwork and concrete slab experience
n
Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a 3:1 roster
n
Strong safety awareness and ability to follow site procedures
n
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
n
Previous mining experience highly regarded
n
Glencore induction beneficial
n
Glencore-specific medical required
n
n
MOBILISATION REQUIREMENTS
n
Candidates must hold:
n
n
First Aid - obtained within the last 3 years
n
CPR - obtained within the last 12 months
n
Basic Fire Training
n
White Card
n
n

Rates negotiable for highly experienced candidates

3:1 roster

12-hour shifts
