About your experience:
n
n
Develop a culture of improvement in teaching and learning by placing student learning at the centre of planning.
n
Implement effective learning and assessment frameworks that use data and benchmarks to drive best practice.
n
Work collegially with the head of school, executive and other key staff in implementing the school's goals within the team.
n
Model exemplary classroom teaching and practice.
n
Management of student behaviour
n
Ensure student results, assessment tasks and work samples are recorded accurately and in a timely fashion.
n
n
You must have:
n
n
Bachelor's degree in education or a relevant field (teaching qualification).
n
Registration with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
n
Knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and NESA requirements.
n
Demonstrated commitment to the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers (AITSL).
n
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the NSW syllabus documents,
including the ability to respond to student learning needs.
n
Participation in co-curricular or extracurricular activities, camps, or school events
n
NSW Working with Children Check
n
National Criminal History Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes)
n
Be committed to our school values and proactively contribute to our team.
n
Applicants will be screened for appropriate child protection purposes as we are a Child Secure School.
