Branch Member Consultant – Part-Time

MAYDAY Recruitment is excited to partner with a well-established and purpose-driven organisation to recruit a Branch Member Consultant for their Adelaide-based branch.
n
This is a fantastic opportunity for a customer‐focused sales professional who enjoys building genuine relationships, working towards KPIs and helping people make informed decisions about their insurance and healthcare needs.

You'll join a small, supportive team where you'll have the opportunity to build long‐term relationships with customers and make a genuine difference to their experience.

The Opportunity
n
This is a permanent part‐time position, working 22.5 hours per week, Monday to Wednesday, 8:45am – 5:00pm.
n
You'll receive comprehensive training to set you up for success:
n
n
1 week of full‐time induction training, with travel and accommodation arranged
n
Followed by 3 weeks of training in the branch
n
Some flexibility can be considered during the branch training period for the right candidate
n
Once fully trained, you'll work a rotating Saturday roster, approximately 1–2 Saturdays per month, 10:00am – 2:00pm, with additional pay for these shifts
n
n

What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Provide exceptional face‐to‐face and telephone service to customers
n
Have needs‐based conversations to understand customers' circumstances and recommend appropriate insurance products
n
Work towards individual and team KPIs while maintaining a strong focus on customer outcomes
n
Resolve customer enquiries and problems, going above and beyond to deliver a positive experience
n
Build strong,



trusted relationships with customers and the local community
n
Maintain accurate customer information in line with organisational policies and procedures
n
Learn and confidently navigate internal systems and processes
n
Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
We're looking for someone who combines strong customer service skills with a genuine sales mindset.
n
You'll ideally bring:
n
n
Previous experience in sales and customer service, ideally working towards KPIs or targets
n
Confidence building rapport and holding meaningful conversations with customers
n
An empathetic and customer‐focused approach
n
Strong communication skills and the ability to understand and respond to individual needs
n
Confidence learning and navigating new systems
n
A collaborative, adaptable and positive approach
n
A genuine interest in building a long‐term career
n
n
Experience in private health insurance or financial services would be highly regarded, however candidates from retail sales or other customer‐focused environments are also encouraged to apply.
n
