About the role
n
We are currently seeking applications for a Gardening & Home Maintenance Worker. The purpose of this role is to provide gardening and maintenance services to seniors and to help them stay in their own homes longer.

Proven experience in the use of Powered gardening equipment
n
Fantastic customer service skills;
n




Providing support and guidance to volunteers of varying skills and abilities;
n
A team player;
n
Valuable communication skills are written, interpersonal and verbal;
n
Basic computer and paperwork skills;
n
A safety-first approach to ensure safety and wellbeing of yourself, clients, and the team;
n
Willing and able to keep up with the demands of the physical demands of a gardening role;
n
A Certificate in Horticulture or similar would be an advantage but not essential;
n

Prerequisites

A NDIS Worker Screening Check
n
Current Drivers License
n
Rights to work in Australia
n
Current First Aid Certificate with 12 months or less currency (or willing to apply)
