About the position
n
This is a fast paced role which requires high attention to detail and strong organisational and time management skills. The overall purpose of the Despatch Officer/Bulk Picker role is to ensure customer orders are picked and despatched accurately, safely, and on time, coordinating order preparation, carrier
bookings/scheduling,
loading, and despatch documentation—supporting on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, and efficient warehouse operations.

What you'll bring
n
You will need to be Physically fit,



heavy lifting up to 20kgs
n
Proven experience in a warehouse, logistics or despatch workplace – essential, 2+ years
n
Must have a Valid Forklift Licence (LF) - essential
n
High Reach experience +2yrs experience - essential
n
Bulk picking, checking and despatch processes, including palletising, wrapping, labelling and staging freight
n
Ability to use initiative and problem solve when faced with challenges
n
Proven experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks in a warehouse or distribution centre environment.
n
Experience coordinating freight and transport bookings, including working with Transport Management Systems (TMS)
n
Experience working with drivers and transport providers, including providing delivery instructions and troubleshooting delays
n
Experience meeting tight despatch deadlines in a fast‐paced, high‐volume environment
n
Proven Time Management skills accompanied with Strong organizational skills to balance multiple tasks effectively without compromising on quality.
