Kidstuff was established in **** expanding to over 60 stores with more on the way. After overwhelming demand from Perth families Kidstuff will be finally arriving at Karrinyup Shopping Centre very soon!

You'll unpack the first delivery, set the floor up, and meet the first valued customers who come through the door. Be part of it from the start.

Store Manager
n
This is your store to run. We want you focussed on your beautiful store, running a tight team and engaging with our loyal customers. Sales focussed, operationally aware, and hands on with the day to day.
n
You'll have an Area Manager and a support office behind you, so you're never sorting out the hard ones on your own.
n

About Kidstuff

We're a specialty toy retailer with over 60 stores and our webstore. Our stores are where a grandparent finds the right birthday present and kids find their new favourite thing. It's a rewarding way to spend your working day.

What the job involves
n
n
Looking after customers and showing the team how it's done. You'll know the range well enough to find the right present for everyone.
n
Running the shift. Handing out the jobs, keeping things moving, coaching as you go, and making sure new starters settle in.
n
Opening and closing. You'll have the keys and the codes, and we trust you with them.
n
Handling the cash properly. Registers, refunds and exchanges,



till reconciliation and the daily banking and report, done accurately every day.
n
Keeping the store looking good. Deliveries out fast, shelves full and ticketed, displays set to a plan
n
Working through the daily task list in our store ops app, and actioning tasks as and when asked
n
Telling us what's going on. What customers are asking for, what isn't working, and anything that needs fixing.
n
Taking instruction and completing what is needed together with your Area Manager.
n

About you
n
You'd rather be on the floor than in the office. You notice when a shift is getting away from you and you sort it out. And you like sending people home happy, whether that's a customer who found the right present or a new starter who had a good first day.
n
When something's wrong you say so early instead of hoping it sorts itself out.
n
What we're looking for
n
n
Warm and energetic, and you enjoy dealing with kids and their grown-ups
n
Organised, calm when it's busy, and good at coaching people
n
Reliable with keys, cash and following procedures and tasks as instructed
n
Happy to speak up and keep your manager in the loop
n
Available across a retail roster Tuesday to Saturday
n
