Challenge Employment and Training Ltd is a well-established not-for-profit RTO. We deliver training and employment support programs across multiple locations in Southeast Queensland.

Casual Employment Opportunity – Browns Plains, QLD ****
n
We are currently seeking a qualified Trainer and Assessor to deliver the CHC***** – Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing / Disability) at our Browns Plains campus.
n
Delivery will include the use of flexible learning models using online platforms and face-to-face training 4 days a week. You will work 1 day a week at our head office in Collingwood Park.
n
Essential Requirements
n
n
TAE*****/TAE***** Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
n
Relevant qualifications (Certificate, Diploma or higher) in Individual Support/Community Care
n
Soundunderstanding of the Community Services Industry
n
Recent and relevant industry experience (at least 2 years)
n
Current Driver's Licence
n
The ability to train and assess HLTAID011 - Provide first aid would be highly regarded
n
n

What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Deliver and assess the Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing & Disability)
n
Use engaging and varied teaching methods to inspire learners
n
Planning lessons and updating training materials as needed
n
Mark and submit assessments within required timeframes
n
Support students with work placement coordination
n
Maintain accurate records of student progress and outcomes
n
Build and sustain relationships with community partners and local employers
n
