We're looking for a reliable and organised Dispatch Operator to join the team at Huon Aquaculture.
n
This is a hands-on role where you'll be right at the centre of our dispatch operation - coordinating deliveries, preparing orders, working with transport providers and making sure our products leave site accurately, safely and on time.
n
The role
n
No two days will be exactly the same. You'll work closely with our warehouse, production and transport teams to keep our dispatch operation running smoothly.
n
You'll be responsible for:
n
n
Coordinating daily dispatch and transport activities.
n
Preparing delivery dockets and transport documentation.
n
Scheduling and monitoring outbound deliveries.
n
Liaising with drivers, transport providers and internal teams.
n
Checking customer orders and ensuring the right products and quantities are dispatched.
n
Scanning finished goods and customer orders to maintain accurate inventory and traceability.
n
Palletising, labelling, wrapping and preparing products for dispatch.
n
Maintaining accurate inventory and dispatch records.
n
Assisting with stock control and cycle counts.
n
Investigating and resolving dispatch or delivery discrepancies.
n
Following all safety, quality and company procedures.
n

About you
n
You'll be someone who enjoys a busy environment, has great attention to detail and takes pride in getting things right.
n
Ideally, you'll bring:
n
n
Previous experience in dispatch, warehousing, logistics or transport coordination.
n
Strong computer skills and confidence working with warehouse or production systems.
n
Excellent organisation and time management skills.
n
The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
n
Good communication skills and a team-focused approach.
n
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
n
n
A Forklift Licence (LF), manufacturing experience and knowledge of transport scheduling or freight management would be an advantage.
n
