Inter Industrial Services is seeking a Guillotine Operator to work with our client, a leading printing business on a casual basis. This is a hands-on operational role based in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne.

Key responsibilities
n
n
Operating a guillotine to cut finished commercial print work
n
Be able to confidently set programs, change blades and capable of cutting all types of print work
n
Work within a team of bindery operators and assistants
n
Follow job bag instructions and direction from the Production Manager
n
Capable of working independently
n
n
What we're looking for
n
n
Proven experience operating a Polar and / or Ito guillotine from within the print industry
n
Solid attention to detail with the ability to work on day shift
n
A solid understanding of health and safety procedures, particularly regarding machinery operation
n
Ability to read and interpret job bags
n
Reliability and punctuality
n
