Due to continued growth, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team.

About the Role
n
This is a hands-on role responsible for the servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of a diverse fleet of civil and transport equipment. The successful applicant will be confident working both in the workshop and in the field, with occasional travel required.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Service, maintain, and repair heavy earthmoving equipment and fleet vehicles.
n
Diagnose and fault-find mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
n
Carry out preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
n
Complete work to a high standard while maintaining accurate service records.
n
Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently.
n
Travel to various sites as required to support field service operations.
n




Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic.
n
Strong knowledge and experience with:
n
Caterpillar Excavators
n
Caterpillar Graders
n
Posi-Track Equipment
n
Sound experience working on:
n
On-highway trucks
n
Light vehicles
n
Proven ability to diagnose and repair electrical faults.
n
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
n
High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
n
Ability to work unsupervised and manage your own workload.
n
