About the role
n
We are looking for a motivated Physiotherapist to join our team at Kogarah Physiotherapy & Sports Clinic. This is a full-time role offering a diverse caseload, clinical mentoring, and opportunities to further develop your skills in musculoskeletal, sports and orthopaedic physiotherapy.
n
As one of the longest-standing clinics in Kogarah, we work closely with GPs, Orthopaedic Surgeons, Sports Physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality, patient-centred care.
n
Our clinic features a fully equipped rehabilitation gym located in The White Church opposite St George Public Hospital. Facilities include a cable machine, free weights, smith machine, functional training equipment, VALD force plates, force frame & handheld dynamometry , allowing you to combine hands-on physiotherapy with objective rehabilitation and performance testing!

What you'll be doing
n
n
Conducting thorough assessments and developing individualised treatment plans
n
Managing a varied caseload including musculoskeletal injuries, sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation and workplace injuries
n
Delivering evidence-based physiotherapy treatment including manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation and patient education
n
Collaborating with the wider healthcare team to provide holistic, patient-centred care
n
Monitoring patient progress and modifying treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes
n
Maintaining accurate clinical records and professional communication with referrers
n
Working with Shoulder Specialist for pre and post operative clinics
n

What we're looking for
n
n
Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist
n
Private practice experience. minimum 1 year.
n
Genuine interest in musculoskeletal and orthopaedic physiotherapy
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
A willingness to learn, ask questions and grow clinically
n
Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development
n
Openness to working with a variety of referral streams including private patients, workers compensation, motor vehicle accidents, sporting injuries and GP management plans
n
