Our client is a well‐established Australian food manufacturing company specializing in the production of high‐quality food products supplied to customers across Australia.

About the Role
n
We are seeking an experienced Production Cook to join a busy food manufacturing environment. This is a hands‐on position suited to someone with experience in commercial cooking, food production or a similar manufacturing setting.

Monday to Friday
n
6:00 AM – 1:30 PM
n
$***** per hour + Super
n
Ongoing casual position with a view to permanency
n
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Prepare and cook food products according to recipes, batch specifications and production schedules.
n
Weigh and measure ingredients accurately.
n




Operate and monitor cooking and production equipment.
n
Monitor cooking temperatures, times and product quality.
n
Complete quality checks and production records.
n
Follow food safety, hygiene and GMP requirements.
n
Maintain a clean and organised production area.
n
Assist with cleaning and sanitising equipment.
n
Work with the production team to meet daily targets and requirements.
n
n
About You
n
n
Previous experience in commercial cooking, food production or food manufacturing.
n
Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
n
Comfortable working in a fast‐paced, hands‐on production setting.
n
Able to follow recipes, procedures and batch instructions accurately.
n
Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
n
Physically fit and comfortable with manual and repetitive tasks.
n
Reliable, punctual and a strong team player.
n
