Job Description
Our client is an established Australian designer, manufacturer and distributor of specialist electric and hydronic floor-heating solutions.

Based in Mona Vale and supporting customers across Australia, the business has built a strong market position through technical expertise, quality products and responsive service. They are now preparing for their next phase of growth.

The Role
n
Reporting to the Managing Director and joining the Management Team, you will have the prospect to provide integrated leadership across fabrication, warehousing, logistics, inventory and supply chain.
n
Your initial priority will be to strengthen the fabrication function and its team by bringing greater clarity to leadership, workflow, planning, productivity, quality and capacity.
n
From there, you will drive coordinated improvement across the broader operation, building the systems, capability and discipline required to support sustainable growth.
n
This is a visible, hands-on role for an operational leader who can work effectively on the floor while also contributing to business planning, reporting and decision-making.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Take ownership of fabrication performance, scheduling and workflow to improve productivity, quality and on-time delivery.
n
Lead and develop the fabrication and warehouse teams, establishing clear roles, standards and performance expectations.
n
Lead warehouse and logistics performance, improving safety, flow, space utilisation, dispatch accuracy and delivery reliability.
n
Strengthen inventory, demand planning, purchasing and supplier performance through better systems, controls and visibility
n
Introduce practical KPIs, document core processes and identify opportunities to improve capacity, automation, fabrication rate and workflow.
n
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers
n

About You
n
We are seeking an experienced Operations, Manufacturing or Warehouse & Logistics Manager who has improved performance in a similar product-based, fabrication or light-manufacturing environment.
n
You are comfortable moving between strategy and execution, are prepared to work alongside the team, challenge existing practices constructively and make practical improvements stick.
n
Ideally, you will bring:
n
n
Broad operational leadership experience across fabrication or light manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, inventory and supply chain.
n
A proven track record of introducing structure, process discipline and measurable performance improvement.
n
Strong inventory-management, demand planning and supplier-management capability.
n
Experience improving warehouse or ERP systems, supported by Lean or continuous-improvement principles.
n
A hands-on, commercially aware leadership style with the ability to coach teams and lead change constructively.
n
