MMD Australia is expanding our Narangba workshop team and we're looking for a skilled Fitter/Machinist who takes pride in precision work and enjoys hands-on mechanical problem-solving. If you want a secure role with a respected global engineering company, this is a great opportunity.

About the Role
n
You'll be working on the manufacture, repair and maintenance of MMD's world-leading mineral sizing equipment. The work is varied, technical and suited to someone who enjoys producing and servicing high-quality components.

Key Responsibilities Include
n
n
Machining, fitting and assembly of mechanical components
n
Operating manual and CNC machines to produce accurate parts
n
Reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings
n
Fault-finding, repairs and refurbishment work
n
Maintaining a safe, clean and organized workshop environment
n
n
About You
n




You're a trade-qualified mechanical professional with strong machining skills and a commitment to quality with at least 3 years post trade experience.

n
Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitter & Turner or Fitter/Machinist)
n
Solid experience in machining and mechanical fitting
n
CNC and manual machine experience
n
Ability to work from drawings with strong attentionto detail
n
A reliable, safety-focused and self-motivated approach
n
Experience with heavy industrial, mining or manufacturing equipment (advantageous)
n
