Rocket is looking for a Senior SEO Specialist to join our Sydney hybrid office.
To apply, you should have more than three years of experience in a digital marketing or SEO agency setting, with a comprehensive grounding across technical, on-page, off-page, content and strategy. You should also have experience managing or mentoring others, whether that's formally leading a team or informally guiding junior specialists day-to-day. GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) is also a growing part of the role, so an interest in how LLMs and answer engines work will go a long way.
Key aspects of the role include:
Leading and mentoring a small team of SEO specialists, setting the standard for how we approach client work.
Owning SEO strategy for a portfolio of clients, from technical fixes through to content and off-page work.
Running in-depth audits and health checks using tools like Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs and SEMrush.
Working across GEO, helping clients get found and cited in AI-generated answers, not just traditional search results.
Growing organic traffic and SERP rankings through strategies backed by solid data and reporting.
Staying ahead of the curve on SEO and AI trends and tools, and bringing that knowledge back to the team.
