Custom Built by Bray is a family-owned and operated business based in Carrum Downs, VIC. We specialise in a wide range of custom cabinetry services, from residential projects through to commercial fit-outs.

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Full-Time Cabinet Maker to join our growing team.
n
In this role, you would be responsible for interpreting plans and measurements, cutting and assembling cabinetry components and hardware, and delivering and installing cabinetry on-site.
n
Daily tasks include
n
Operating machinery (CNC, edge bander and panel saw), using hand tools, fitting hardware, checking quality and accuracy of completed units, and assisting with installation on site as required.
n
Maintaining a clean and safe workshop.
n
Collaborating with team members and clientele on custom projects, and ensuring all work meets company standards and client expectations.
n




Qualifications & skills
n
Candidates have completed apprenticeship in cabinet making, and/or have relevant trade qualifications
n
Candidates should possess strong cabinetry skills for constructing and finishing custom cabinets and experience with onsite installation
n
Experience reading technical drawings and using measuring tools, power tools, and operating machinery safely.
n
Solid attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to quality workmanship.
n
Ability to work on-site independently, follow safety procedures, collaborate effectively within a small team environment and able to have a laugh
n
Experience operating a CNC and edge bander is desirable
