We're looking for a hospitality legend with up to five years' experience to join our team and help supervise and support our valued workers - people with cognitive disabilities who are developing their skills, confidence and independence in the workplace.
n
Our coffee shop is a little different. Alongside serving great coffee and fresh food, we provide meaningful employment opportunities and help our workers build the skills and confidence they need to succeed.
n
You'll be part of a supportive supervisory team, helping our workers learn workplace routines, follow procedures, deliver great customer service and take pride in their work.
n

***** hours per week
n
Monday to Saturday trading, 7:30am-4:00pm
n
Initially offered as a casual position
n
Opportunity to move to permanent part-time or full-time employment after a successful three-month probation period
n
Ideal for someone with up to five years' hospitality experience who enjoys working with people, leading by example and making a genuine difference

Strong barista skills and commitment to maintaining high standards of coffee and food
n
Strong self-awareness and interpersonal skills with ability to effectively manage stress and navigate challenging situations
n
Experience in supervising others and fostering an inclusive culture
n
Flexibility, organisation, and a love for the hospitality buzz
n
Community-minded with a commitment to equity and kindness
n
Experience working with people with disabilities is highly regarded but not essential
n
