Are you a Health Insurance professional and want to make your mark in the industry? At Canstar, we are building a team of sales professionals to help everyday Australians find the right Health Insurance cover. Not only will you be compensated with a competitive base salary and potential commission earnings, you will also be the voice of our first in house Health Insurance team!

As a Canstar Sales Consultant, you'll play a key role in Canstar's mission of helping consumers confidently find the product that best suits their needs.
n
Aside from being a trusted advisor to our customers, you'll also help shape the future of our business by sharing customer insights and feedback. You'll play a key role in driving improvements in our products and services, making your impact felt well beyond your day-to-day role.

This is a full-time position based in either Brisbane or Sydney, with the flexibility of a hybrid work model (a mix of office and work-from-home days).

What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Engage with prospective customers via inbound and outbound calls to understand their health insurance needs.
n
Present and explain health insurance policy options clearly, including waiting periods, exclusions, limits, and tiers.
n
Achieve and exceed monthly sales and conversion targets.
n
Adhere to all of Canstar's sales processes,
compliance standards, and the PHIIA Code of Conduct, ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to integrity and ethical practice.
n
Keep accurate records in the CRM and ensure all customer interactions meet quality standards.
n
Contribute positively to a high-performance, team-oriented culture.
n

What We're Looking For
n
n
1-2 years of experience working within sales (health insurance preferrably), with a proven track record of exceeding targets through a customer-first approach.Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to simplify complex information with empathy and patience.
n
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, KPI-driven setting.
n
Desire to continuously learn and stay informed of changes to private health insurance products.
n
Experience in health insurance sales.
n
Knowledge of the Private Health Insurance sector and PHIIA Code of Conduct.
n
Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and processes.
n
Interest in building a career in financial services
