Kass & Co Pty Limited The role Working alongside our site team, you will carry out a broad range of carpentry work from structural framing through to fit‐out and finishing.
n
This is a full-time position offering steady work, a supportive crew and genuine scope to develop your skills over time.
n
What you will be doing:
n
Setting out, constructing and installing timber, plywood, lightweight steel and plasterboard structures and fixtures
n
Reading and interpreting plans, drawings and specifications
n
Measuring, cutting, shaping and fitting materials using hand and power tools
n
Installing wall and floor framing, roofing structures, doors, windows, staircases and partitions
n
Undertaking repair, renovation and fit‐out work to a high standard of finish
n
Working to building codes, safety regulations and quality requirements
n
Coordinating with supervisors and other trades to keep projects on schedule
n
Maintaining tools, equipment and work areas in safe working order
n
What we are looking for:
n




A completed trade qualification in Carpentry, or an equivalent recognised qualification
n
Solid practical experience on residential and/or commercial sites
n
Sound knowledge of construction methods, materials and building standards
n
The ability to read plans accurately and work to fine tolerances
n
A strong safety focus and a reliable, team‐oriented attitude
n
A current White Card (relevant licences an advantage)
n
