AAMG is seeking experienced Tyre Fitters to join our team at Blackwater.
n
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced mining Tyre Fitters looking for a stable, ongoing role with a reputable mining services company.
n
Reporting to the Tyre Bay Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient maintenance, inspection, removal and installation of tyres on heavy mining equipment.
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Remove and fit rims, wheels and tyre assemblies on heavy mining equipment
n
Remove, repair and refit tyres as required
n
Conduct regular tyre pressure inspections, adjustments and reporting
n
Inspect equipment and identify potential non-conformances
n
Initiate corrective actions to prevent equipment and tyre-related issues
n
Identify and record equipment quality issues and contribute to effective solutions
n
Complete all work in accordance with site procedures,
safety standards and operational requirements
n
Maintain a robust focus on safety, quality and housekeeping
n
n
Skills & Experience:
n
n
Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing – Heavy Vehicle Tyre Fitting (AUR*****)
n
Previous surface mining experience essential
n
Demonstrated experience working with heavy mining equipment
n
Current Australian Driver's Licence
n
Current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11
n
Current HRWL – Forklift (essential)
n
Strong commitment to safety and following site procedures
n
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
n
