Experienced Restaurant Manager NEEDED
n
Johnny's Taste is an in-house Chinese restaurant located inside the Brewarrina RSL Club at the corner of Sandon and Bourke Streets, Brewarrina, NSW. The restaurant provides lunch and dinner services and offers a range of Chinese and Asian cuisine.
n
We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. This is a full-time opportunity for an enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable individual.
n
Location: Brewarrina, NSW
n
Duties and Key Responsibilities
n
n
Develops and designs menus in collaboration with chefs.
n
Plans, coordinates, and oversees special functions and events.
n




Manages the procurement and pricing of goods in line with budget requirements.
n
Maintains accurate records of stock, purchases, and financial transactions.
n
Ensures that dining and food service areas meet health, safety, and presentation standards.
n
Engages with customers to evaluate their satisfaction with food quality and service.
n
Recruits, trains, and supervises front-of-house and kitchen staff.
n
May handle reservations, welcome guests, and assist with order taking as needed.
n
Oversees and manages the overall operations of the restaurant to ensure efficient dining and catering services.
n

Experience
n
n
Hold at least a relevant Diploma, or have at least three years of relevant experience which may substitute for the formal qualification.
n
Have at least one year of full-time work experience (or equivalent).
n
Previous experience and strong knowledge of the restaurant and hospitality industry are preferred.
n
n
Skills required

Ability to lead, supervise and motivate restaurant staff.
n
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
n
Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
n
Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
n
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Reliable, responsible and able to work well under pressure.
n

Annual salary package: $72,000 per annum plus superannuation.
n
