We're looking for an Audio Visual Consultant to join our growing team.
n
This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to build their career in AV consulting and work across a diverse range of projects.
n
Working alongside experienced consultants and engineers, you'll be involved in the design and delivery of integrated audio-visual solutions across a variety of sectors. You'll gain exposure to projects from early concept and design through to documentation, coordination and delivery, while continuing to develop your technical and consulting capability.
n
You'll be part of a collaborative team where you'll be encouraged to ask questions, contribute ideas and take greater ownership as your experience grows.

How you'll contribute day-to-day
n
n
Support the design and documentation of audio-visual systems across a range of projects.
n
Assist with developing AV concepts, layouts, schematics, specifications and technical documentation..
n
Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers and other project stakeholders to help develop practical and integrated solutions.
n
Coordinate AV requirements with other building services disciplines throughout the design process.
n
Assist with equipment selection and technical research to identify solutions that meet project and client requirements.
n
Participate in project meetings, site inspections, testing and commissioning activities.
n




Support senior team members with project delivery while progressively taking ownership of your own tasks and smaller project components.
n
Keep up to date with emerging AV technologies and contribute ideas around how they can be applied to our projects.
n
Build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, suppliers and industry partners.

What sets you up for success

To thrive in this role, you'll be someone who:

Has around 1–2 years' experience in audio visual consulting, design, integration or a related technical environment.
n
Has a genuine interest in AV technology and how it can improve the way people communicate, collaborate and experience spaces.
n
Has an understanding of AV systems and technologies, with an eagerness to continue building your technical knowledge.
n
Is comfortable working with technical drawings, documentation and specifications.
n
Enjoys solving problems and has solid attention to detail.
n
Communicates clearly and enjoys working collaboratively with different disciplines and stakeholders.
n
Is curious and proactive, and isn't afraid to ask questions or contribute new ideas.
n
Is organised and able to manage priorities across multiple projects and deadlines.
n
Wants to develop their consulting skills and take on greater responsibility as their experience grows.
n
Values teamwork, accountability and building strong relationships.
