Your Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Prepare, cook, and serve meals according to planned menus and dietary requirements.
n
Plate and present nutritious, well-balanced meals, including texture-modified diets.
n
Monitor and record food, fridge, freezer, and bain-marie temperatures.
n
Ensure safe food storage, handling, and hygiene practices.
n
Clean and maintain kitchen areas and equipment.
n
Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
n
n




Skills and Experience Required:
n
n
Minimum 1 year experience as a Cook (aged care or healthcare setting desirable).
n
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent experience).
n
Knowledge of food safety and OH&S; standards.
n
Ability to prepare meals for special dietary needs.
n
Strong time management and independence.
n
